Hamilton-Wenham 6, Manchester-Essex 1

Hamilton-Wenham coach Nancy Waddell:  The Generals got off to a quick start in the seventh minute when senior midfielder Savannah Gauron took a pass from senior forward Margot Bryce Morris and slotted the ball home passed the charging ME goalie. Gauron did the same thing in the eleventh minute when she slipped another one out of the reach of the approaching goalie. Halfway through the first half junior forward Dusty Romiza scored on a pass from junior midfielder Emma Hughes. Finishing off the scoring in the first half, Bryce Morris put away a cross from senior midfielder Maddie Graber.

Sophomore goalie Olive Bevilacqua shut down the visitors for the first half as it ended with the Generals holding a 4-0 edge.

In the second half sophomore Bailey Shepherd scored on a pass from Romiza and sophomore midfielder Ella Zacharias finished a cross from senior Cayla Maihos.

Junior goalie Layla Yankee made several saves in the second half, making the initial save on the ME goal in the final few minutes, but it fell to an unmarked forward who put it away.
