Weather – National Weather Service – The heatwave continues today, but it will be less humid. Oppressive conditions return this weekend, with the heat peaking on Sunday. On Sunday, actual temperatures might even surpass 100°F, with Heat Index values approaching 105°F

Manchester-by-the-Sea – Manchester has asked residents to voluntarily conserve water over the past few weeks due to the current drought conditions. Try to limit irrigation to early in the morning or later in the evening, when temperatures are cooler. Consider only hand watering from 5 PM to 8 AM.

Lynn Police – Sgt. Mike Kelter held his final roll tonight under the watchful eye of Lt. Henry Wojewodzic. Both will be officially retiring in the coming days. Sgt. Kelter has been with LPD for 34 yrs & Lt. Wojo served for 29 yrs. We wish you both all the best in retirement. Congratulations!
