Nahant Honors the Services – Memorial Day Weekend

City of Salem – Salem’s ferry service will resume operations this weekend for the season. You can find the schedule online on our website. Please be informed that the city’s ferry, Nathaniel Bowdich, is currently undergoing major engine and drive chain reconstruction due to supply chain delays
In the meantime, we’re delighted to announce that Boston Harbor Cruises will step in with the Cetacea, operating between Salem and Boston. Plus, we’ve reached an agreement to honor Zone 3 MBTA passes on the ferry’s commuter runs. Also, the Ferry Landing will open this weekend!
City of Salem – The change of Administration from Acting Mayor McCarthy to Mayor Elect Pangallo will occur 5/27 upon being sworn in mid afternoon. Mayor Bob thanks everyone for their hard work and dedication across the past half year.

Mass Transportation – Thursday in #Groveland #MassDOT held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the recently completed Groveland Community Trail. This trail was completed on budget and over one year ahead of schedule.
