BALTIMORE – (Audio) The Ice Bucket Challenge has inspired a new law in Massachusetts, in no small part, due to the efforts of Beverly’s Pete Frates, former Boston College baseball star. Beverly City Councilor John Frates, Pete’s dad, was in Baltimore this week, and he talked of Team Challenge ALS, along with the incredible response the Ice Bucket Challenge continues to elicit in raising funds to combat ALS.
