BEVERLY. — The No. 25 nationally ranked Endicott football team (6-0, 2-0 CCC) is set to host the University of New England (UNE) (4-2, 2-1 CCC) in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) showdown on Saturday, October 22 at 1 PM. Here’s a preview of this week’s contest at Blue Storm Stadium.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls hold a perfect 3-0 advantage in the all-time series over the Nor’Easters (66-38, 10/13/2018 l 49-7, 11/9/2019 l 19-17, 10/30/2021).
- Endicott has not lost a game coming out of its bye week in Paul McGonagle‘s tenure as head coach (3-0).
- UNE is 2-1 on its home field this season.
- Mikey Brennan (Dedham, Mass.) and Shane LaPorte (Southington, Conn.) rank first and fourth in the CCC in receiving touchdowns (7 and 3), while Tyler Bridge (Wells, Maine) and Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield, Mass.) are tied for third in the league with five rushing scores.
