SALEM – Today, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at approximately 2:23 PM, Salem Police were called to a wooded area adjacent to the Walmart at 450 Highland Avenue when a man, walking his dog, came upon what appeared to be a human body. Responding police found the bodies of two males deceased at the location. At this point an investigation led by the Essex County District Attorney’s Office along with the Massachusetts State Police and the Salem Police is underway to determine the cause of death and if foul play was involved.
