Report from: Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Lawrence Acting Police Chief Michael McCarthy – Haverhill Man Arrested
A not guilty plea was entered for Kristopher Graciale, 36, on a single murder count during his arraignment before Judge Jubinville in Lawrence District Court. He agreed to be held without bail, without prejudice, and is scheduled for a pretrial conference on November 21st.
On 10/8/23 at 7:50AM, the Lawrence Police and EMS responded to Chandler Street in Lawrence where the victim, Nathan Mucci, was found unresponsive on the sidewalk outside a residence bleeding from the head. Mr. Mucci had suffered a significant head injury and was declared deceased on 10/11/23.
In the days following Mr. Mucci being found unresponsive, Investigators obtained evidence that his injuries were inflicted by the defendant.
On October 19, 2023, an arrest warrant for murder was sought and granted for Kristopher Graciale DOB 7/11/87 for the murder of Nathan Mucci on October 8, 2023, in the City of Lawrence. Garciale was located in the City of Plymouth when he was taken into custody without incident. The Essex District Attorney’s Office, Essex SPDU, Lawrence PD, MSP VFAS all worked in conjunction to facilitate this arrest. ADA Erin Bellavia is prosecuting the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
