WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott men’s cross country team fell to host Gordon College, 21-38, in the “Battle of the North Shore” dual meet on Saturday morning.
Gordon earned its second victory in the all-time series, and first since 2023, by securing the No. 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 spots on the result sheet.
Despite the loss, Endicott holds a 6-2 advantage in the season-opening dual meet.
Dawson Romito (Boxford) shined for the Gulls, breaking the tape on the 5-kilometer course in a personal best time of 16:31.24. His time was more than 15 seconds faster than the runner-up finisher.
Freshmen Micah Erickson (Mismarck, N.D.) and Jonah Potach (Marblehead) ranked sixth (17:32.69) and eighth (17:45.26), while Jonathan Rodrigues (Walpole) and Dimitri Kontos (Lexington) rounded out the top-5 (13th — 18:23.03 | 15th — 18:34.37).
