Lynnfield’s Chloe Shapleigh broke open a 2-2 tie in the third via a two-run double to right center, and the Gulls let Couto and Marchand handle the rest for the first win of the day.
Emma Hogan (Tyngsborough, Mass.) also provided a game-tying RBI single up the middle in the second to highlight the offense.
