BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team defeated crosstown rival Gordon, 61-53, on Saturday evening in conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Spencer Aronson (Holliston, Mass.) paced all scorers with 17 points (tied career-high: 5-12 FG, 5-9 3PT, 2-3 FT).
The Gulls also received double-digit performances from Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) and Cameron Ray (Lowell, Mass.) as the duo registered 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Trailing 33-31 early in the second half (17:55), Endicott produced a 16-6 run over the next 8:25 of play and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way.
Aronson bookended the run with a pair of three-pointers, while Echevarria (5), Ray (3), and Parker McLaren (Newburyport, Mass.) all contributed to the offensive outburst as well.
