BEVERLY – (Video) The Endicott football (1-3, 1-0 NEFC) will travel to MIT (1-3, 1-0 NEFC) this Saturday to take on the Engineers in a conference clash at 12 p.m. Here’s a preview of this weekend’s matchup.
NEED TO KNOW: Both teams are coming off of landslide conference wins from last week as Endicott defeated Nichols 37-0 and MIT trumped Maine Maritime 30-13.
ENDICOTT: The Gulls are currently tied for first among all NCAA Division III programs in blocked kicks (5) and fourth in blocked punts (2) headed into this weekend’s matchup against MIT. Endicott also No. 55 in the country in red zone defense and No. 59 in turnovers gained.
MIT : The Engineers’ defense checks into Saturday’s game ranked No. 9 in passes intercepted (8 total, 1st in NEFC) and No. 17 in 3rd Down Conversion Percentage Defense (.224, 1st in NEFC).
