BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott football graduate quarterback Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield.) has been named the Conference of New England’s (CNE) Offensive Player of the Week following his performance this past Saturday at Western New England.
Marengi led No. 11/13 Endicott to a 41-7 win over the Golden Bears going 20-for-25 passing with 312 yards of total offense (218 passing and 94 rushing), three passing touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
The graduate student’s passing touchdowns were of 39, 3, and 36 yards.
The Lynnfield, Mass. native unleashed a 60-yard rushing touchdown to give the Gulls the lead for good in the first quarter (1:29, 14-7)
This is Marengi’s fourth Conference Offensive Player of the Week award and second this season (10/31/22, 11/6/2023, and 10/7/24).
