BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team took down Wentworth, 21-1, in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Hempstead Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Bailey Sheehan (Pomfret, Conn.) led the Gulls with five goals, adding two assists for seven points.
Mia Kaczmarek (South Burlington, Vt.) recorded three goals of her own, while Sophia Notine (Arundel, Maine), Mia Samarjian (Stow), and Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.) each found the back of the net twice.
Abbie Belleville (Salem, Conn.), Leah Black (Cheshire, Conn.), Annabelle Gray (Londonderry, Vt.), Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine), Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.), and Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.) all recorded solo tallies.
Payton Quirk (Nahant) picked up her 10th win of the season in just over 40 minutes of action. Emma Budke (Rye, N.Y.) made her collegiate debut in the final 19:15 of the game, making one save.
Endicott took control of the game early as they scored the first 12 goals of the game, including a 7-0 first-quarter advantage. Up 13-1 at halftime, the Gulls scored the final eight goals of the game while keeping the Leopards off the scoreboard.
