Endicott College Football Travels To MIT Saturday – Video Interview With Coach Kevin DeWall – & ESPN Video

BEVERLY – The Endicott football team (1-1) will travel to MIT (1-1) on Saturday to take on the Engineers in a non-conference matchup at 1:00 PM. Here’s a preview of Saturday’s contest. Video Pregame interview with head coach Kevin DeWall

NEED TO KNOW: Endicott is 13-1 against MIT in the all-time series, which dates back to 2003. The Gulls started the series off with 11 straight victories before the Engineers notched its only win in 14 career meetings on November 1, 2014, a 34-29 triumph in Beverly. Meanwhile, the last two games saw Endicott top MIT 21-9 in 2016, and 31-27 in 2015.

ENDICOTT (STATS): The Gulls currently rank third in their conference in points (39) and yards per game (337.0), second in tackles per game (75.7), and fourth in passing yards allowed per game (236.0). The Gulls also enter Saturday’s matchup 5-1 combined record on the road dating back to last season.

MIT (STATS): The Engineers are positioned sixth in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) in yards per game (282.0), seventh in third down conversion (24%, 6-for-25), fifth in tackles per game (72.5), and first in total yards allowed per game (240.5, first in passing 116.5). Over the last three seasons, MIT is 4-7 at home.
