Climate change impacts nearly every part of our daily lives—from the energy that powers our homes to the quality of the air we breathe and the roads we travel on. Addressing these challenges takes collaboration, planning, and action.
That’s why we hope you’ll join us for the Resilient Danvers Community Summit, a special event designed to bring residents, local leaders, and partners together to learn, share ideas, and shape the future of climate action in Danvers.
What to Expect:
- Updates on Danvers’ 2025 progress toward our climate action plan goals, including major projects and milestones
- A presentation from the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources on what it takes to become a Green Community
A sneak peek at 2026 action priorities, focusing on six key areas:
- Buildings – Improving energy efficiency and resilience in homes and businesses
- Energy – Supporting clean, reliable power for our community
- Natural Resources – Protecting open spaces, trees, and waterways
- Public Health & Safety – Addressing climate risks like extreme heat and flooding
- Transportation & Land Use – Reducing emissions and improving mobility
- Solid Waste – Cutting waste and expanding recycling and composting efforts
We’ll also share updates on stormwater management planning, an important step in reducing flood risks as our climate changes.
Bring your ideas, ask questions, and help shape a more sustainable, resilient future for Danvers. Together, we can build a stronger community for generations to come.
