DANVERS – (Radio – Video – Photo Gallery) Danvers scored two runs in the home half of the 6th inning breaking a 1-1 tie to go on and defeat Peabody 3-1 at Twi Field in Danvers. The actual winning run was manufactured on two Peabody errors and two stolen bases. Pitcher Andrew Olszak (7-2) struck out 8 Tanners and allowed only 4 hits. Peabody pitcher Jake Zeuli also pitched well, allowing only 3 hits. Danvers coach Roger Day earned his 465th career win tying him with for the Northeastern Conference all time lead in wins with former Swampscott coach Frank DeFelice. Danvers is now 15-2 on the season.
