Ipswich Varsity Softball played Rockport last night. The final score was 22-1. Ava Poire hit her first varsity home run, Lola Morley, Liv Driscoll, Elin Roberts all collected 2 hits for IHS Tigers. Morley and Poire both drove in three runs. Aurelia Teheen started the game on the mound, she gave up 2 hits and one run over four innings, striking out 6 and walking one. Liz Marsella came in as relief, zero hits, striking out 2 and walking none.
Next game is Friday, home vs. Manchester Essex.
