GLOUCESTER – The City of Gloucester will host its third annual Energy Savings Fair on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 between 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. at the Rose Baker Senior Center (6 Manuel F Lewis St, Gloucester, MA 01930) to connect residents with resources and information to help manage and lower utility expenses. Residents of all income levels, age, and housing situations are invited to stop by the fair to speak with City staff, representatives from local organizations and National Grid Advocates to learn more about opportunities to reduce their energy bills. National Grid advocates will be available to explore options and determine eligibility for assistance including:

Resolution of Past Due Bills
Along with the advocates, residents will be able to talk with representatives from several local organizations. Residents are encouraged to bring a recent National Grid electric bill, and a (optionally) SNAP, MassHealth, SSI, or WIC benefit card/ acceptance letter OR proof of income such as your most recent tax return or 4 weeks of pay stubs to help determine program eligibility for means-tested programs.
