SALEM – (Radio) Sophomore third line left winger James McCarthy potted 2 goals in the second period (his 4th and 5th of the season) and junior forward Braden Haley added his team-leading 13th goal of the season, also in the second period, to propel Marblehead to a 3-0 win over Winthrop. The Headers are now 12-0-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the league, while the Vikings are now 6-5-3 overall and 3-3-1 in the league. Junior goalie Ronan Cunningham was credited with the shutout.
