BEVERLY – (Video – Photos) Beverly boys basketball pulled away in the second half to beat Peabody 86-70. The Panthers were led by a 40 point performance by Ryder Frost. The 6’6″ center also added 20 rebounds and 6 assists. The win was bittersweet for the Panthers as they lost captain Rook Landman in the first half when he suffered a dislocated elbow and left the game immediately. Noe Diaz added 24 points for the Panthers. Peabody’s Shea Lynch led the Tanners with 26 points. Beverly picked up their first double digit lead in the game with 1:40 to play in the third quarter (59-49). The Panthers did have a 20 point lead late in the game (80-60).
