LYNN – (Radio & Video) The Lynn English boys basketball team erased a 14 point second half deficit to defeat Danvers 54-52. Danvers did not lose a game last year, winning the Division 2 state title with a 27-0 record. English improves to 2-0 on the season while Danvers falls to 1-1. Lynn English was led by senior Anthony Silfa’s 19 point performance (video below) and 10 points from Iverson Lopez. Mike Nestor and Devonnn Allen each led Danvers with 17 points.
