DANVERS – (Radio & VIdeos) The Danvers boys basketball team road a strong second quarter to a 51-47 win over Beverly Tuesday night in Danvers. Danvers outscored Beverly 18-8 in the second quarter. Danvers improved to 5-2, while Beverly fell to 4-3. Devonn Allen had 15 points leading the falcons in scoring while Mike Nestor knocked down 12 points. Nestor had 9 of his points in the second half. Sam Traicoff led Beverly and all scorers with 22 points.
Danvers will honor their 2015 state championship team on Tuesday as part of the falcon’s game against Winthrop.
