GLOUCESTER – (Video & Photos) Bobbi Gibb, the scholar-athlete who became the first woman to break through the all-male Boston Marathon barrier, continues to work toward breaking social, science, and cultural barriers. In a radio interview you can hear this Thursday on “Connections” at 11 a.m., Gibb talks about books, science, athletics and art; and how she continues to work to make the world a better place.
In the video below, she takes us on a tour of her studio, where she paints and sculpts when she’s not writing or working on scholarly science articles.
