Beverly’s Brendan Flaherty Wraps up Career With Holy Cross Football – Participates in NFL Pro Day Monday – Radio Interview – Video – Photos

WORCESTER(Radio Video – Photos) Brendan Flaherty, Holy Cross, former of Beverly High School, makes his second straight appearance on the All-New England team, in addition to being a first team All-Patriot League selection in both 2015 and 2016. He started 10 games at wide receiver this season and led the team with 59 receptions for 621 yards and four touchdowns. Flaherty also rushed the ball 34 times for 117 yards and a score, while totaling 738 all-purpose yards. He finished the year ranked third in the Patriot League in receptions and ninth in receiving yards. Flaherty caught 197 passes for 2,035 yards and 17 touchdowns during his collegiate career, and ranks second all-time at Holy Cross in receptions, fifth in receiving yards and seventh in touchdown receptions.

Holy Cross concluded the 2016 season with an overall record of 4-7, and placed fifth in the Patriot League with a 2-4 mark in conference games.
