Beverly – Weekend Trash Removal Update from Mayor Cahill

BEVERLY – Friday night message from Mayor Mike Cahill:

This is Mayor Mike Cahill with a Friday evening trash update. Today, Republic did not have a good day. They picked up some, but not all of the regular remaining Wednesday and the Thursday routes. Tomorrow, they will send two trucks to try to finish what they have not gotten to yet. If you live in the neighborhoods on either side of Essex St. between Montserrat Train Station and the Beverly Library main branch and over to East Lothrop St., as well Dane St. and Hale St. from downtown to Ober St., and the neighborhoods off Ober St. to Lynch Park, or you live along Hart St. and side streets off that in Beverly Farms, or you live in the Old Town, Old Rubbly Roads neighborhood in Centerville, Republic knows that your streets need to be picked up tomorrow. If you don’t think this description includes your street and it has been missed, please e-mail me at mayorcahill@beverlyma.gov and I will try to get Republic to pick up your street also tomorrow. I continue to push for more trucks to come to Beverly tomorrow, just as I have all week.
No one else should put any trash or recycling out for tomorrow. Also, since Labor Day is Monday, there will be no pickup again until next Tuesday. Next Tuesday, the regular Friday routes should put your trash and recycling out before 7 AM. That is next Tuesday, and it will only be the regular Friday routes.
Thank you, All.
