Beverly City Clerk Wes Slate to Retire – Podcast Highlights the Key Functions in the City Clerks Office

BEVERLY (Podcast – Photos) Wesley Slate will be retiring soon as Beverly’s City Clerk. Slate has had a varied career  as a teacher as well as many years in business. He has served as city clerk for the past five years. Earlier he was elected to the Beverly City Council. In an MSO podcast Slate shares information on the many roles and responsibilities of the city clerk in Beverly. The clerk is voted to a two year term by the city council. As for retirement, Slate notes that he is planning several trips and is looking to remain very active.
