WINTHROP – Winthrop High School football coach Jon Cadigan had to re-arrange his schedule last week after Cathedral had to cancel its Saturday meeting with the Vikings, who instead decided to face Framingham High School. In answering the challenge, Winthrop’s defense was strong, and the Vikings came away with a Thursday night win, 22-6, after a short week of practice.
