DANVERS – Danvers High School band director Jeff Daniels had an idea that, with the help of Ipswich High School band director Stan Lee and 8 other area high schools, became a virtual performance of 240 individual students playing “Shipping up to Boston” together.
In the interview below, Director Daniels talks about the Falcons band program, the idea of getting the bands together, and how the performance was created, with all credit to students and the other band directors.
