GLOUCESTER – After making the MIAA Tournament for the first time almost half a dozen years, Gloucester High School football coach Dan O’Connor feels his program is trending in the right direction: Upward. A win over arch-rival Danvers would give the 5-5 Fishermen a winning record for the first time in a long time.
The Falcons (7-3) are the number 5 seed in the D5 MIAA Football Tournament and are playing in the Final Four Friday night against number-1 seed Hanover (10-0).
