SALISBURY – Salisbury Police Chief Thomas Fowler lauded the efforts of police and firefighters in preventing loss of life during the massive 9-alarm fire that destroyed a Salisbury Beach motel and several residences. Dozens of residents were displaced as a result of the blaze that was first called in around 1:45 a.m. on Monday.
In an interview with MSO Friday afternoon, Chief Fowler explained the roles his men played on Monday.
