BOXFORD – The Masconomet Chieftains open the 2022 high school football season at home against their old Cape Ann League rivals, the Newburyport Clippers. Starting their third season in the Northeaster Conference, Masco is led by veteran head coach Gavin Monagle, who takes a look at how his team has prepared since the end of last season. He also mentions the names of some of the players he expects to do well, as the Chieftains hope to be in the mix again at the top of the NEC.
