MARBLEHEAD – The Marlbhead-Gloucester softball opener was rained out on Wednesday, but Marblehead High School softball coach Johnny Gold is confident his players will be ready to go when the weather clears. Citing the enthusiasm his team has displayed in the pres-season, Coach Gold is confident his team will be supporting the strong pitching expected from Lauren Donovan.
