PEABODY – Peabody High School football coach Mark Bettencourt faces new challenges: replacing star players, and moving up to the North in the NEC schedule. Relying on a veteran coaching staff that includes younger coaches as well as “long-timers,” and relying on the culture and tradition that is being carried on by his seniors, Coach Bettencourt is excited about the team’s prospects for this year’s football season.
