DANVERS – Massachusetts High School Hockey Hall of Fame Coach Mark Leonard continues to build winning traditions. The Essex Tech Hawks head coach expects his team to challenge last year’s regular season record of 17-1-2 and go deep into the playoffs again. With many veterans returning, Coach Leonard points to speed and size as strengths of the team. One area of concern: protection in the “D” zone. Essex Tech will host Newburyport Saturday at 12:10 p.m.
