NEWBURYPORT – Of the eight sports that Newburyport High School participated in during the Fall, 2022, high school season, the Clippers finished with six Cape Ann League championships and one state championship. Newburyport took titles in boys’ soocer, girls’ soccer, filed hockey, boys’ cross country, girls’ cross country, and volleyball. Boys’ soccer, finishing with a record of 23-0, won the state title for the first time ins school history.
