WINTHROP – The Winthrop Vikings (10-2-1) continue their charge to the top of the NEC after their Saturday win over Beverly (1-12-0). Vikings coach Dale Dunbar continues to stress the importance team focus as Winthrop is currently the number 2 seed in the MIAA D4 Power Rankings.
Winthrop’s defense continues to be outstanding as the Vikings have given up only 12 goals in 13 games.
