WINTHROP – The Winthrop Vikings (15-3-2) are NEC Champs. Again. Dale Dunbar is Northeastern Conference Coach of the Year. Again. Petey Silverman is the NEC MVP. Again. And the Vikings are seeded number 1 in the D4 MIAA Power Rankngs. Again.
But, it’s the “new season” Wednesday when Winthrop hosts #32 Tri-County Regional (11-6-0) at 6 p.m. in the opening round of the D4 Tournament.
