WINTHROP – Getting stellar play from goaltending, defense, and offense individuals, combined with total team effort, has enabled the Winthrop Vikings (13-3-2) to emerge from a 4-game winless streak and win the Northeastern Conference championship while holding on to the top spot in the D4 Power Rankings. Citing strong efforts across the roster, Coach Dale Dunbar continues to prep the team for the upcoming tournament, with only 2 games remaining in the regular season.
