SWAMPSCOTT – The Swampscott Big Blue baseball team is off to a fast 3-0 start after Wednesday’s 14-inning win over the Gloucester Fishermen. Big Blue head coach Joe Caponigro credits senior leadership for the way his team has performed so far.
With a suspended game against Marblehead still pending, Swampscott travels to Peabody Saturday for a 10 a.m. matchup with the Tanners.
