LYNN – From Fenway Park on Thanksgiving to Gillette Stadium on Saturday, December 3, the St. Mary’s Spartans football team is building some super memories. Following Thursday’s win over Austin Prep (0-10) at the Ol’ Ballpark in Boston, the Spartans (11-1) boogie on down to Gillette Stadium to play the Stoneham Spartans (11-1) coached by Bob Almeida, who has a career record of 207 wins, 106 losses and 1 tie. At Stoneham High School, he is 82-38 finishing his 11th season.
Meanwhile, St. Mary’s coach Sean Driscoll has an overall won-loss record of 97-73 and is 39 -15 in his five years in Lynn.
