LYNN – The St. Mary’s girls’ basketball team has already qualified for the State Tournament with a record of 12-2 as the Spartans play Wakefield this evening. With a monster schedule remaining down the stretch, Coach Jeff Newhall will be relying on the depth of his squad to help solidify its standing in the MIAA D3 Power Rankings. As of last Friday, the Spartans were ranked number 4.
