DANVERS – By virtue of a 44-18 win over number 1 seed Andover (9-1) in the MIAA D1 Football Playoffs last week, the 7th-seeded St. John’s Prep Eagles (8-2) will meet a familiar foe in this week’s semi-finals. According to Eagles coach Brian St. Pierre, playing number 3 seed Central Catholic (8-2) twice a year is becoming a habit. Central Catholic beat the Prep, 17-7, earlier in the season.
Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cawley Memorial Staduim in Lowell
