DANVERS – The Eagles are now at 2-0, having outscored the opposition, 84-34, after Friday’s 42-14 win over Londonderry, NH. St. John’s Prep 42, Londonderry, N.H. 14: Sophomore quarterback Jordan Toribio scored twice, freshman quarterback Chris Vargas threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and captain Merrick Barlow caught five passes for 117 yards and a TD as the Eagles (2-0) rolled over their visitors from New Hampshire. Senior captain Deacon Robillard added a 3-yard scoring run for St. John’s Prep, which also received a 43-yard touchdown reception from fullback Jack Shrayer and a short TD plunge from Edwin Castro. Evan Morgese earned a safety for the Eagles as well after tackling the Lancers’ quarterback in the end zone.
