DANVERS – The Eagles are now at 2-0, having outscored the opposition, 84-34, after Friday’s 42-14 win over Londonderry, NH. In the interview below, St. John’s Prep coach Brian St. Pierre highlights some of the important plays and players in the game and points out the importance of the Prep’s Scout Team is in getting first units ready for each game.

St. John’s Prep 42, Londonderry, N.H. 14: Sophomore quarterback Jordan Toribio scored twice, freshman quarterback Chris Vargas threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and captain Merrick Barlow caught five passes for 117 yards and a TD as the Eagles (2-0) rolled over their visitors from New Hampshire. Senior captain Deacon Robillard added a 3-yard scoring run for St. John’s Prep, which also received a 43-yard touchdown reception from fullback Jack Shrayer and a short TD plunge from Edwin Castro. Evan Morgese earned a safety for the Eagles as well after tackling the Lancers’ quarterback in the end zone.
