PEABODY – The Peabody Tanners (3-1) got by the Beverly Panthers (2-3) Saturday in a physical contest that saw the Tanners play a solid-second half. Peabody coach Mark Bettencourt is particularly pleased with the overall, consistent efforts of his players.
Peabody will face Gloucester (3-2) on Friday at 5 p.m. in Newell Stadium.
