PEABODY – The Peabody Tanners were forced to miss their opening game of Fall 2 due to COVID protocol, and as a team with very young players at key positions, coach Mark Bettencourt’s team had it that much tougher facing Marblehead in their first test of the season. After a tough 7 point loss to the Magicians, the Tanners bounced back last week with a big 14-10 win over Masconomet. And, it’s “once more unto the breach” this week against Danvers on Thursday.
