NEWBURYPORT – As the Newburyport High School girls’ lacrosse team readies for its tournament opener on Monday, Coach Catherine Batchelder is working on keeping her team focused. The Clippers finished the season with a record of 16-2 are the number one seed in the D3 MIAA Girls’ Lacrosse Tournament.
Newburyport is tentatively scheduled to host either Auburn or Hoosac Valley on Monday.
