NEWBURYPORT – Newburyport High School girls’ lacrosse coach Catherine Batchelder has kept the the number 1 seed Clippers (21-1) playing consistent and focused during the run to the D3 State Championship match against number 6 seed Norwell (18-4). Despite a 16-3 win over Norwell earlier in the season, Coach Batchelder is expecting a much bigger challenge in the State Championship game as Norwell has beaten both the numbers 2 and 3 seeds to get to the finals.
The game is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Burlington High School
