BOXFORD – With a record of 17-0-2, the Masconomet Chieftains, seeded at number one in the D2 MIAA Girls’ State Soccer Tournament, face number 8 Hingham (11-6-3) Saturday at Essex Tech at noon. Masco coach Alison Lecesse is impressed with how her team has responded to all challenges so far, including playing on a multitude of playing surfaces, as the team plays an away “home” game in the Quarterfinals.
