BOXFORD – The Masconomet Chieftains (2-2) pulled away from the Salem Witches (0-5) in the second half Friday night to earn a 35-14 win. Masco coach Gavin Monagle gives a lot of credit for the win to his linemen who paved the way for the Chieftains biggest scoring day of the season so far.
Next up: a rematch with the visiting Marblehead Magicians (5-0) Friday at 5 p.m.
