Peabody came in a made statement early and often.
They put up 3 in the first, 2 in the 3rd, 4 in the 5th and added one in the 6th for the 10-0 win over the Magicians.
Peabody had 14 hits to Marblehead’s 5.
Ben Weed settled down a bit after the first and went 4 total innings giving up 5 runs (4 earned) – Peabody just swung the bats well.
On the mound for Peabody, Mike Geissler went 6 innings for the CG – 5 Hits, 4 K’s and no walks.
A solid performance all around for win by Peabody.
Marblehead (11-4) gets right back at it with a 10 am game at home against Winthrop at Seaside Park.
